The Joint Seat Allocation Authority has started the JoSAA counselling 2020 registration today, October 6 at josaa.nic.in. Candidates can now complete their JoSAA counselling registration and choice filling process till October 15. Only JEE Main 2020 and/or JEE Advanced 2020 qualified candidates will be able to register for JoSAA counselling.
JoSAA counselling registration Steps
• Visit josaa.nic.in
• Click on the “JoSAA 2020 counselling
registration and choice filling” link
• Enter JEE Main 2020 application number.
• Enter password (If you have registered for
JEE Advanced 2020 then use that password.
Otherwise use JEE Main 2020 password.)
• Enter security pin
• Click on “Login”.
After successful login, candidates will have to enter the required details and preferred choices.
Steps involved in JoSAA counselling 2020
Following steps will be included in the JoSAA 2020 counseling-
• JoSAA counselling registration 2020
• Choice filling and locking of choices
• Mock seat allotment
• Announcement of seat allotment result
• Payment of seat acceptance fees
• Reporting of candidates at reporting centres
• Confirmation of admission by allotted
institute
JoSAA 2020 counselling is being held for admission to 23 IITs, 32 NITs, 26 IIITs and 29 Other Technical Institutes Funded Fully or Partially By Central or State Governments. First mock seat allocation will be announced on October 12.
